Fighting must be...bad!

Also, Mew is reportedly retarded.

Yeah, I actually watched this movie in the not too distant past (six months ago or so maybe?) and when we came to this point, everyone in the room guffawed, because we all loved Pokémon battling, and realized that the entire point of Pokémon seemed to be the battling.

Giraffes are adorable.

Thank you for discovering the Nostalgia Critic! (with my help)

Now let us all lawl together.

Also he mentioned elsewhere he was a teen when the Pokemon anime was really popular so he was never really into it. So think of his review from the point of view from a parent and movie critic of yesteryear who was forced to watch this movie because their children dragged them or they got payed to review it. They won't understand what Pokemon is about so you see he criticized it by the point of view of someone who saw the movie fresh without any prior "experience" of Pokemon before.

I like how he screams about the setting and time and dimension, which's actually something I came to drive myself insane over once I got really into the games XD

*laughed at the Platoon music too* Some of this stuff though he might've known from the show, but you can't blame the guy for not watching the show or liking the movie AT ALL since it was never targeted at him <<;

Frankly, as a 9 year old when it came out (I think I was 9...) there was no repetition and I cried SO HARD when Ash died XD

I came so close to crying when Ash died, haha. Still this guy brings up some interesting points. I would've lost if this had been in YLYL.

This reminds me of how much I used to like watching the show. I don't remeber when it came out, but I'm 18 now, so probably when I was 9. I guess that fact that it kept going killed it after a while. Well, that and Ash giving up Charizard after that epic battle with Faulconer. However, now that I am older, I find Brock funny in ways I didn't used to understand. Hilarious review though.

^This. Do I hate humanity when I only cry for fictional animals and EVEN FICTIONAL ROBOTS but barely shed a tear for fictional humans?

Maybe it's because fictional humans tend to be idiots?

Like real humans?

If left blank, your default title currently will be: Phasmatis of Elementum

Ah... I remember once I though that pokemon as the best anime ever... what a dissapointment.

Adachi is not amused.

I actually watched this movie on New Year's Eve last year with friends. We laughed so freaking hard at how bad it was. The voice acting was so much worse than I remembered, and it really was just incredibly cheesy through and through. And to thinik as a kid I liked...

...actually, no, as a kid I didn't like it. I loved Pokemon but I thought the movie was pretty lousy for the most part. Even at the age of nine I was a critic, sheesh.

Still, I did get a kick out of the movie, then and now. There were some parts that I could find appealing about it... there's a little Appreciator in me, I think, so I tend to notice the occasional good parts.

ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS

I cried so much when Ash died.

Mainly because I was in love with him and if he died I couldn't marry him.
(Because if he was alive I could have, right? RIGHT?! >_> <_<)

THat was very funny, but I still think it was a fantastic movie.

Mewtwo was the only thing good about that movie. And Mew.
The protags were pretty bad, though. >.>

I think I cheered when Ash died.

Aw man, I loved that movie when I was little, I was so close to crying when Ash died >.>

In retrospect, I apologize to my parents, and it's really fun to laugh at myself nostalgically.

No, we were kidding. Turning into solid rock is just a pastime of his.

Mew in the first movie is so much better then in Lucario and the Mystery of Mew.
