I don't have the time these days to spend all my life playing games. The Temple is a different story =P But yeah, I stop playing for whatever reason, and then I lose interest because I can't remember the story anymore >_> |

To quote Carl Brutananadilewski: Frickin' AWESOME!!! This is what I've been waiting for. Since the DS came out, there were rumors of this. I hope they actually add new stuff to this one, unlike the lame PS port. |

Didn't the PS port have anime cutscenes at least?

They were all really short besides the opening and ending videos, and they didn't make up for the horrible loading times. |

Crash, you'll be mostly disappointed to hear that the additions are relatively small, like the FF Advance remakes. We'll get an extra dungeon and that's about it. I would like to see the cutscenes back though - they didn't make up for the horrible loading times, but the DS usually doesn't suffer that. |

Well, if the additions are as big as the ones FFV or VI got, I'll be satisfied. Hey, maybe we'll finally find out what Gaspar meant when he said that "someone very close to one of you needs your help - and fast." I would expect the cutscenes to return, or maybe new ones - the DS can do pretty good stuff (see FFIII's opening vid for proof). Nice to meet you, by the way. |

If left blank, your default title currently will be: Phasmatis of Elementum

They should do like they did with Tales of Phantasia Full Voice Ed. The game is a huge upgrade compared to the PSX one, it has voices and the graphics are waaaay better, why can't they do the same with Chrono? they could add some cool stuff if they want to. |

Pleasure to meet you too. However, I believe that what Gaspar said was actually the scene regarding Lucca's mother, how you can go back and keep her from being injured. However, this might have already happened by that point... in which case it could easily be referring to Schala and Magus. Who knows. I doubt Square is good enough to go back and fix/answer that... they're not the company they used to be anymore. |

Yeah, even if you do every sidequest in the game, Gaspar still says that, no matter what. There's been big debates on the gameFAQs board about what he meant by that. One theory, the one that I like most, is that it's just a general statement for all the characters, in the sense that if they don't stop Lavos soon, people that are close to them could die. I can agree that Squeenix isn't the company it used to be. I'd love for them to stop using so much time remaking FFIV every two years and redirect that money and time to pioneer new projects that aren't just fanservice (although this CT fanservice is gladly welcomed). |

I have the PSX port, and wish I had the SNES version, but have been unable to find it for a sufficiently low price. I got all the endings on it and everything; really, I'd be getting this to share with someone else, who has a DS, and could play it. I'll probably pick this up before too long... Just curious, Delfeir. Are USA games compatible with European consoles? I assume they aren't, 'cause otherwise you could just buy off of Amazon or something... but just curious. In hindsight, probably requires a mod chip or something illegal, eh? |

Depends on what console. DS has no region lock. I've imported a few JPN only games for my NA DS and they work perfectly fine. |

Just got this, it looks amazing. I only played the first little bit of Chrono Trigger before, never had the game itself, so this will be a whole new experience for me. |

DS has no region lock. A handful of my games do indeed come from places like the US, Japan, and even Hong Kong. I could easily import, but the issue is price. The exchange rate isn't in my favor and the shipping usually jacks it up a bit, so if I'm lucky I'll get it at the price of a normal Australian game (we get ripped off here), or it'll cost more. I have every intention of picking this up. I don't see why it's getting so much negativity. I'm not buying it for the new content... I'm buying it for the old content that I love and would be happy to play through again. |
