I was about to go to bed but then I stumbled upon this during my last minute on the internet. I feel I should share it with you. http://www.square-enix.co.jp/ctds/ Click that, ponder it for a moment. A clock. A ticking sound that is lifted directly from the SNES version of Chrono Trigger. The C around the rim of the clock. The letters CTDS in the name, with the DS clearly referring to the Nintendo DS as marked on the site. It's Chrono Trigger. It has to be Chrono Trigger! We're getting a Chrono Trigger game of some description on the Nintendo DS! I cannot believe how long I've been waiting for this! What are your thoughts on it? |

This is a good chance for me to play what's considered one of the best RPGs of all time a play for the FIRST time. As soon as I saw the news about it, I knew it would be one of my Christmas gifts this year.

You mean most of you haven't actually played the game before, though? Wow... that's surprising. This is probably a good time for it to be re-released, it seems. Unless it's a sequel. This is perhaps the only game in history, however, where I'll be happy with a mere port or remake. |

Yeah, I was reading an article on it. It's just a port, more or less - graphics aren't updated at all, but there is a new dungeon. *shrugs* xD but I have that emulator, so it's all good~ |

More often than not, I'm actually reversed. I spent the better part of my teenagerhood playing emulated games for systems that I couldn't get anymore, or indeed games that never came out here or I was unable to find. I finished more emulated copies than I have of real games. To this day I still do, though I've played almost all of the older games through so now I'm working on the current (or previous) generation. |
