If you think the first game was emotional, the sequel is gonna put that to shame. Well written storyline and characters. Also Chikorita rules in this game. They have access to Synthesis and later on, aromatherapy. Once you get aromatherapy there is no need to fill your slots with heal seeds anymore unless you go to a level 1 dungeon that allows items. It heals the user and the whole party of all stuff from poison to blocked moves due to traps. My partner was a Chikorita. Only thing is synthesis is annoying because AI partners are stupid so it's best to turn it off until you are in a tight spot and want to use your partner as a shield. Actually all the grass starters rule if you give them bullet seed. |

I know. When I played the first I was a Torchic and my partner was a Chikorita. When I battled Kyogre for the first time, she used Bullet Seed. Instant KO, and I recruited him. It was funny, but I was also disappointed because of the lack of a boss battle Anyway, for the sequel, I'm Meowth, and my partner is Pikachu. And Dialga keeps kicking my ass. It's really pissing me off, especially since I don't enjoy level grinding, which is what I'm going to have to do if I want to beat him. That, and buy a crapload of Reviver Seeds. And yes, the ending of the first game was surprisingly and pleasantly emotional for Pokemon. I didn't come close to crying though. It takes a lot to make me so much as sniff, especially if it isn't real.

I managed to beat Dialga. I hear Dig is a very good move but I never found the TM. Also stun seeds, sleep seeds and other kinds of those seeds are a must. |

I know. It's just that I don't want to leave the tower to buy the stuff that would help me, because then I would have to go all the way through the Hidden Land again. I'm lazy. Plus, I haven't played the game in a while.

I should think about getting that second game, by the way you speak of it, it seems to be pretty awesome itself. |

Well, I got the game today. Haven't been disappointed so far - very similar to the first one but with slight improvements across the board. The extra Pokemon sure don't hurt it, either. And maybe this is just me but I seem to level faster, also a plus. I originally got Pikachu in the quiz, but then my brother insisted on having a shot, so I lost that and got Chimchar the second time around. I think I would have preferred being Pikachu in all honesty, but there you go. Anyway, so now I'm Chimchar with a Mudkip partner. |

Or... *SPOILERS* You can graduate from the guild and make Chikorira your team leader (so you can heal when YOU want to). |

LMAO. I managed to buy an item from a Kecleon Dungeon Shop called Coronet Rock. It's says " A rock that radiates a peculiar energy, rumored to only exist on Mt. Coronet, a place that no one knows anything about." Coronet is a place in the D/P main game. Dungeon and the main games may belong to the same canon universe. |

Or it could just be a subtle in-joke to those who have played it. Who knows? It's still an interesting little find. Well, I'm slowly playing through the game. Currently just beat the second of the trio of guardians, this one being the one in Quicksand Desert (name not spoken to avoid spoilers, in case anyone cares). I'm having fun still. |

I haven't played the second Mystery Dungeon, but I would assume that Coronet Rock would be an evolution item fro Nosepass-Probopass and Magneton-Magenzone, no? I was actually playing the first Mystery Dungeon this morning. I finally managed to make it to Jirachi, but for some reason he wouldn't join me. I had the Wish Stone, so I thought I was good to go. Guess not. So I just had him recruit me a Pokemon. Guess what he gives me? An Unown-****ing-exclamation point. Time for round 2 of that ridiculous dungeon, I suppose... I wasn't planning on buying either of the new ones, but the way you guys talk about it, I might just have to. |
