Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Well, aesthetically Banjo-Kazooie seems to be the ultimate disney-reject-style kid's game... on the surface anyway. With a lot of insipid elements like the blurble-talk. So yeah, it's kind of surprising, but at least I won't feel I'm embarrassing myself when I say I played that too. =)

Banjo-Kazooie is hysterical, with fun gameplay, nice graphics, catchy music and silly characters. Who wouldn't play it and love it?

The thing about the temple is that loads of people play great games, they don't just say they do. Besides, me and Jax have discussed it a few times on the C-box.

And Gruntilda = Best female baddie ever.

Did you know there's a Banjo-Kazooie 3? (not to be confused with banjo-threeie). It's coming out for Xbox 360.

Unless I've been misinformed.

Yes, it broke away from the greatness of the platforming. >_>

Looking at the GameFAQs boards for it, I'm disgusted. Not at the game, a game can only commit so many sins. No, the pure idiocy of the specific topic I'm reading.

But then again, what am I to expect? GameFAQs/Spot community is the scourge of the gaming world. No offense board vets.

Also Erik, while I enjoy GTA, I'd be insulted if you tried to bundle me in with the people who say "screw quality give me blood and violence!!!11111!1111!1!1111!1111!"

In fact, I'd be flat-out angry. The best games are the ones with a good story and a good gameplay, and slightly less important is good art. A good look. However, art and graphics are very different. But that's beside the point.

Actually, this entire post is BESIDE the point. Just for topic's sake, I'll say this:Sonic Adventure 2. In the sewer with Knuckles sucks..

For the record, I played GTA3 and Vice City and liked them a lot. And anyone who looks beyond the violence fluff to look at the game itself objectively is okay in my book. :)

Now, what makes Ocarina of Time's water temple notorious is both that its water-raising system can stump many people and that in order to get ANYWHERE in there you constantly had to go to the equipment screen to switch between normal and iron boots so that you could either walk under water or rise to the surface. Fun that was not. >_<

What sucked the most was the fact that you had to float up and down. That took forever. Not individually, but add it all together...

The even worse part was going back for skulltulas.

Sound the horn and call the cry: "How many of them can we make die?"

Well, two to add:

Sonic CD - Tidal Tempest

Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine - The sunken ship in the Palawan Lagoon.

Adachi is not amused.

I can't think of many specifics, but having played almost every game and every level mentioned here, I'll say that most of them annoy me to an extent... but I can still get through them and find some enjoyment.

The Lakebed Temple in Twilight Princess really annoyed me, though. Looking back on it, however, it was mostly pretty fun.
