On Nintendojo.com: "Updated Rumor: Wii-Bound Arcadia Sequel to be Shown at TGS 5/10/2008, 2:05pm Eastern Time A little while back we reported on a list that had surfaced on SEGA ON, a German community fansite. According to the site, the list represented titles that were to be shown at Sega Gamer’s Day sometime this month. included on the list was a tentative listing for a sequel to the beloved Dreamcast and GameCube RPG, Skies of Arcadia. Now SEGA ON has an update on the never-ending Arcadia speculation. In a post earlier this week, they declared that a Skies of Arcadia sequel was “definite” and would be shown at the Tokyo Game Show this fall. They added that the game was headed for Wii but might also wind up on PS3. Cross your fingers, Arcadia fans." *Does so* |

I crossed my fingers last time this came up. That was last year, in the latter half, prior to... TGS, I think it was? Either way, it was said that Skies of Arcadia 2 and a new Jet Set Radio game were in the makings and that we'd see them at the show. It was a horrible, horrible lie. I was forced to rip the water out of six people in a bloody slaughter before my rage eased. As such, I'm not letting myself get excited until I see serious results. Like with Golden Sun 3, I'll believe it when I see it signed in triplicate by the developers. |

I've heard a lot of rumors lately about a Skies sequel, so I'm hopeful in the way I am about Golden Sun. That it probably won't be soon, but that it will be eventual. Also, Vyse for SSBIV!

They should have put Vyse in Sega Superstar Tennis. That would have been sweet, since they brought back other Dreamcast games like Jet Set Radio and Space Channel 5. Also, AIRSHIP STAGE FTW! |

I had an idea for Vyse in Brawl. It actually had him, Aika, and Fina switching out like Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon.

Maybe in terms of awesome and in terms of overall game quality, sure. But you can't joke about the impact Sonic has had on the video game industry, even though that impact has mostly been a negative one since the turn of the century. Hell, I *still* yell out "SONIC'S IN BRAAAAAWL" just for the hell of it. As awesome as it would be to see Vyse in there, I doubt it'll happen, though it would be nice to dream. I'm of Draco's mindset, as well. As much as I'm prone to thinking these rumors and claims are complete BS, I still believe it'll happen one day. |
