>_> might seem lame, but since I usually don't like the stages the game gives for the characters, for most them I pick a stage that I think suits them better, or is just fun to play. So, when I use these characters, I always try ot pick these stages. XD For example: White!Pit: Battlefield. Color scheme/sunlight of the stage just matches with him, plus it's fun. XD Black!Pit: Spear Pillar. Malevolent purple/icy blue background with dark overtones of stage, plus my favourite to play, = win. Lucas: Summit! There's just something about ice and rainbow auroras in the background that's psychic-y. XD Lucario: Luigi's Mansion. Dark, badass music, ghosts, full moon in the background... frig yeah. XD Ganondorf: New Pork City. XD Sometimes dark music, looks like a big flying fortress of evil in the sky, with instant kill monsters - plus, that uber-win music with the pipe organ/piano = major win for a Ganondorf fight. Pikachu: Pokemon Stadium 2, because of electric flooring. XD Black-and-white!Kirby: Pictochat, since it matches! XD Does anyone else do this? XD |

Sometimes I pick stages because I like them. Not really specific for any character. I do counterpicks sometimes on With Anyone. I chose Hanenbow or Luigi's Mansion to stop annoying Pikachu Spammers for instance. Ledges block those Thunder Spammers. Works well for Aether Spammers, and Rock/Final Cutter Kirby spammers as well. Sometimes I chose stages like NPC, Temple or Corneria if I am not serious and want to taunt the entire match. I get taunting buddies that way sometimes. I used to pick Summit for Pikachu though. Thunder spamming when the gravity is low used to mean cheap wins for me. But that is when I was a newbie a while ago. |

So you don't think G&W suits Flat Zone? Well, if he's not black then that's a different issue. |

Not in Brawl. Not yet at least. But in Melee each character had their own 'office' and some characters had more than one. And my friends and I would fight over them (the levels). The rules were that you could only try to steal a level once per day. To steal a level you had to win two out of three matches, three stock. And each character had to have a level before you could give any one character another level. Which meant I had to have an office for Pichu. The thinking behind this was so that you couldn't give every stage to your best character. My Fox had Brinstar Sheik was Temple Bowser was Corneria Roy had Onet and Venom Link was N64 Dream Land Young Link was Great Bay Mario was Flat Zone Peach was Poke'Floats Falco was Pokemon Stadium Gannondorf was Green Greens The Puff had Final Destination and so on. And these might seem like random stage assigments but I had strategies for all of them. Young Link had some sick boomerang and bomb combos that would have worked elsewhere but were perfect for Great Bay. |
