Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

Come and Take It - Temple Tsundere

So, a few days ago I got an e-mail from Nintendo advertising the ability
to "test play" MKWii. Take a look at the e-mail and tell me what's wrong
with it, though:

I lol'd at this.

This topic also has no real point.

I'm not sure what of it's the funny/ridiculous part, if it's not the fact that Mario and Luigi are sitting on their asses holding those steering wheels without cars attached to them, or the fact that they would have a "driving school" for a Mario Kart game in the first place.

Look at the date advertised to go test the game. And then, look near
the bottom of the E-Mail.

I think it's just a promo thing, or if you're not sure if you want to buy the game - they mean 'test play' as in 'try it out'.

He who strikes like lightning

I thought it was "Put your driving skills to the test in the on site karts"

which makes NO sense.

Oh! Okay. =D

While this turns out to not be related, for a moment this made me think of a story I read about how a computer company's management tried to straighten out security procedures with this memo: "As of tomorrow, employees will only be able to access the building using individual security cards. Pictures will be taken next Wednesday, and employees will receive their cards in two weeks."

Maybe that was the boss's way of giving everyone two weeks off. :P
