Temple of Kraden News: Welcome to the Temple of Kraden! ------ All worshipers may enter the Most Holy Place in single file, reflecting on the bountiful blessing Kraden hath provided unto him or herself since their last visit. Head coverings are not necessary, as true penitence and humility are found within. The Priests and Priestesses of Kraden endeavor to remind all that fresh orange juice is heavily preferred; only whores use frozen.
Greetings, heathen. Perhaps some fortuitous blessing of Kraden's grace hath led you to our humble Temple, or perhaps you are simply curious about this strange and wonderful cult. Should you be willing - and dare to hope - to achieve enlightenment, the door opens before you. Lo! Leave your old life behind! For once you step through, you become something more than just yourself.

You become a Kradenette.

Are you willing to make the rapturous plunge? Do you have what it takes?

That... must have been painful when fighting Tabuu. Granted, all would be, but Tabuu the most...

Well, you'd know better than anyone - if you hang from the edge of the stage, does Tabuu's shockwave hit you or am I just inadvertantly abusing invincible frames?

IIRC the shockwave, the gold cage, and the downwards laser followed by a bomb and the Master Hand style lasers are Tabuu's most dangerous attacks, since they all launch and don't Telegraph. Well, his downwards sword gets faster too I think...

I assume the shockwave move is the one where he shoots out 3 red rings that literally OHKO you? I've never really tried the edgeguard tech. All I've done was SideStep all 3 rings since that's the safest way to avoid it [For me anyways]. I've also heard / read that SideStepping was the only way to avoid that move?

Also Tabuu on Intense Boss Battles is WEAKER than the SSE intense version. I noticed this when his Grappling move only did 3x% instead of 5x%. Basically if you can avoid most of his moves from the SSE version then you can definitely avoid his Boss Battles attacks [Prior they're both on Intense]

Mario, he was my best in Melee so I stuck with him for Boss Battles

Reviving this because I need HALP. ;___;

What character did everyone use? And, does that edgeguarding thing work, Chrono?

'cause uh, I'm using Zelda, and the going's pretty tough. >_> I've gotten to Tabuu a few times, but that damn Red Rings of Death attack always gets me.

I'm using Zelda

There's your problem. In b4 cause I'm not a tourney player, that's not it. Her only real attack is her orb of fire thing, which you can't really use over and over to win. Or, if by Zelda, you mean Sheik, you can start as Sheik by 'clicking' on Sheik when you put the button over Zelda. My friend told me that.

Well, I was using her Zelda special, aka her Forward-Air, but now I'm using Peach and having a bit more success by spamming her Side-B. >_>

Have you tried the practice method I mentioned about the red rings of death? That's basically your best way to dodge the OHKO move without risking getting pwnt from mistiming the edge-guard tech

Yeah, I did that, and I'm decently good at it - I would've had it beat, actually, but I started from the edge sidestepping, so my third one was right into the middle - so took too long for the ring too pass and I died. >_<

Also, I'm having a lot of trouble with Rayquaza and Duon. The former always catches me in his spin attack or the dash move across the stage a few times, while the latter just nails me with about everything (namely though the dash attacks and the axe-head chop attack >_<).

You're gonna need a dude that can deal damage from a distance. Someone like Link, Samus, Fox, Snake, or Sonic(because he can get in, hit, and get out without getting hit) is best suited for them. There's a lot more, like Bowser(cause he's heavy), Ike(heavy, too-but he's SO [radio edit]ING SLOW), or basically anyone that can't be knocked out easily.

BEAT IT, BITCHES!

Thanks for the tip, Shadow. XD I switched to Fox and had craploads more luck, but was still getting stumped by the three Red Rings of Doom. My third sidestep would go right through the middle, so it took a while for the ring to pass straight up-and-down - too long, and I'd die. This time, I just sidestepped once, then dodged in place, dodged again, and finally beat him. XD In 6:43, bitches! *dances*

Special thanks to Fox's forward-A air, his laser attack, and his reflector shield. >_>

Now I need help. >_> I just recently got Toon Link after beating Classic, which I thought you had to beat with Link in order to fight Toon Link, beat him, and get him. >_> Thing is, I never could, so instead I beat it with Wario and beat him. >_> Is the same with Wolf? (You fight and unlock him after beating Boss Battles with Fox or Falco, I was told)

...WHAT?!

@Shadow: Yes, but if you beat SSE, there's an easier method of unlocking
Wolf, Toon Link, and Jigglypuff.

Oh and Shadow, go to the Ruins level In SSE after you beat the story mode and you should find Wolf, in a hidden door.

I think it's after you go down in a platform while those purple spiky things appear.
