In this game I play, Ikariam (which is totally awesome, by the way), I run a city, Vespuccia. The goal of the game is to, in essence, take over the world. I'm told it's a lot like a Civilization MMO, but as I've never played Civilization, I wouldn't know. Anyway, I was recently attacked by another city, Don't Panic. They were on about the same tier as I was, though I'm pretty sure they had the better military. Then again, my entire military consisted of a Phalanx unit and a wall at the time. Naturally, he won. His reward? 5 coins. That isn't much. So, in an effort to make his day a bit more surreal, I sent this letter to him.
His reply was something along the lines of "I have another resource and I need yours. Wanna trade?" Morals of the story: 1.) Diplomacy does not suck. Do not underestimate it. 2.) I think I win here. |

That's awesome. You win, for sure. I'm on that game now, by the way. I saw it on an ad on ExtraLife, but I didn't start until now. |
