You do realise half the rules about ROMS are made up? And I'm assuming she's currently playing JFA Case 4? Ema's theme for GS4 rules though. |

Roms are a mysterious thing. If it weren't for roms I would never learn about the beauty that is Earthbound. But I stopped using them for years. CHORDS OF STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!! |

Just wondering... If anyone here emulates DS games, what's the name of the software itself? And some interesting things happened with me on this fifth case (still in progress): Prior to the case my mental image for "Ema Skye" was this little Gaia avatar with slightly dark skin tone. And when Gant first appeared, I actually said out loud, "The Spanish Inquisition!" because I thought that was his code name or nickname something. Both instances were caused by the existence of certain users on the Temple of Kraden. |

I'm talking about the user here named "Ema Skye" who had that Gaia avatar as her avy for the longest while. It had a slightly dark skin tone. |

Ema Skye was actually you? And lulz has basically the same meaning as lol? Better add these to my Court Record. I think the animated security video in case 5 is the most interesting part of the game because it manages to pull off convincing 3D for a predominantly 2D-looking game. I absolutely had to look at GameFAQs for the multiple answers the tape provided, though... How many people get stuck on cases like that where only GameFAQs can help you along? |

I had no trouble with the tape at all. It was amazingly obvious. |

Interesting... Some parts of the trials are very difficult to me (the tape was the hardest thing I had seen yet in the game, honestly, and how the heck was I supposed to know about looking at a piece of paper upside down for a clue!?), whereas other parts of the very same trials practically insult my intelligence. Wonder if this means anything in particular... |

well, I had a couple of issues with PW, so I used gamefaqs for some of it, but only for little things I couldn't get. |

Kinda sounds like different people have different amounts of luck with different parts of these games, since it's all based on critical thinking, so my being stumped on the tape and only a few other little things throughout cases 3-5 isn't anything for me to be totally ashamed about, I guess. |

Don't be. I got stuck on 1-2 because I didn't read Mia's autopsy report and I didn't know she died instantly. |

I did that case easily. Which is weird because usually I fail at doing cases easily. |

@Phoenix: Well that definitely makes me feel a lot better (laughter tends to do that to a person's mood). And while I did 1-2 easy too, I might have enough "evidence" from this thread to assert Spella's a prodigy. ![]() Anyway, I had actually suspected the white coated guy in the tape was actually some sort of supernatural entity that could either vanish like a ghost or warp like Alex in Golden Sun, based on how he seems to disappear right after the assault and it looked like the camera itself was up against a wall, so he couldn't possibly have snuck out from behind the camera or something. What also made me think that was a corporeal ghost was that the murder victim had to be already dead by then anyway and was probably doing some "unfinished business". So I rolled with that logic at first, and I tried far more analytical approaches with the footage itself afterwards, looking very hard at practically every frame. And I couldn't see what the defense claimed as proving various things about the case. It could be I was looking too hard through the video at too slow a pace. I doubt a lot of people would've been able to guess the truth about that footage on their own... |

It's Phoenix Wright. There's a reason for everything. I also got a little stuck on 3-1, I won't say what part cause it contains spoilers and I don't know fully how to do the colour thing. |

[ COLOR = white ] White text here. [ / color ] Just take away all the spaces to get the effect. Yeah, my first stumped moment in the game was at the testimony of a kid. I was looking too hard at Cody's first, general testimony in regards to the geography of the studios to realize a contradiction in his last statement about not bringing his camera along that day when earlier in the investigation itself he was established as bringing that camera around everywhere. |
