South Africans sound very British. I mistake them every time for Brits... or used to anyway. Now I'm wisened up and I always inquire before I assume they're British. I think Ian's definition was pretty good. |

You must have been hanging around Seth Efricans with mild accents, which can sound slightly British. People with heavy Seth Efrican accents sound completely different to Brits. |
